Having grown up in a family full of healthcare professionals, William appreciates the value of caring for others and helping those in need. So when the opportunity to joinKyle’s Mountain House presented itself, he was excited to join the team. 

William was born in Costa Rica and moved to the United States as a child, when his parents enrolled in a graduate program at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. A􏰁er spending his childhood in Columbus, OH, his family moved to Las Vegas, NV where his parents started a dental practice. While there, he graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, then attended law school in San Diego, and eventually moved to Colorado in 2006 to attend a Master of Laws program at the University of Denver School of Law. 

William has a diverse professional background, which includes several years as a corporate tax attorney, advising corporate clients—mainly telecommunications and oil and gas companies— with tax planning and compliance, representing clients through tax audits, and representing clients throughout proceedings with the IRS and state and local tax authorities. This was followed by a career change to engineering within the oil and gas industry, where he has worked in various reservoir engineering and economic evaluation roles, while obtaining a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Colorado. He also spent two years on the Sloan’s Lake Park Foundation Board of Directors here in Denver, assisting as the Board Secretary and Treasurer, and volunteering at fundraising events. 

As a well respected professional in many industries, William brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Kyle’s Mountain House Board. His superior intelligence is only matched by the size of his heart. We are truly blessed and honored to have William as Treasurer of the Board for Kyle’s Mountain House.
