Board Member
Kevin is a Colorado native and a proud CU Buffalo. He has learned patience, heartbreak and now gratitude by being a CU Football fan for over 20 years. He is passionate about shaping towns and cities to enhance the quality of life and foster strong communities for all stakeholders. Central to this passion is his dedication to supporting nonprofits that fill critical needs within these communities.
Kevin’s professional background focuses on finance, private equity, and real estate. Throughout his career, he has led over a billion dollars in development, acquisition, and syndication across a diverse range of asset classes, with a primary focus on mixed-use projects, multifamily housing, and luxury hospitality. This experience led to the founding of his company, Outwest Investments—a real estate private equity firm driven by the simple yet powerful mantra: Have fun and do good.
Despite its straightforward philosophy, Outwest has made a meaningful impact—delivering hundreds of workforce housing units, creating thriving spaces for small businesses, revitalizing small towns through luxury developments, and building vibrant business districts, from Colorado’s mountain towns to the beaches of Mexico and everywhere in between—all while having a little fun along the way.
Kevin is actively involved with Special Olympics Colorado, Fraser Valley Arts, Push America, and, most recently, Kyle’s Mountain House. He was introduced to Kyle’s Mountain House through his sister, who was a close friend of Kyle and is a passionate advocate for ensuring that Kyle’s vision, selflessness, and infectious kindness continue to make a lasting impact. We are honored to have Kevin on our Board of Directors at Kyle’s Mountain House as he embodies so many of the values of our organization including being a champion for others, service oriented, and truly an outstanding person.
