Tracy Price-Johnson
Board Member
Tracy Price-Johnson received her Master of Science in Business Administration and Mediation/ Arbitration from University of Denver. Ms. Johnson serves as Discipline Director for Community Advocacy and is faculty for the CU ANSCHUTZ Physician Associate Psychosocial Disability curriculum. She teaches as well as serves on the Steering Committee for the Interdisciplinary Ethics Course offered through the School of Medicine, as well as teaching SOM Bootcamp classes like The Intersection of Professionalism, Law, Ethics and Medicine and Informed Consent.
She has experience in advocating for and with people with disabilities and has worked on the national level as the co-chair of the AUCD Council on Community Advocacy and locally with the JFK Advisory Council. Tracy was a Founding Member and served as Co-Chair of The Children’s Hospital Family Advocacy Council from 1994 – 2011 and serves on the Children’s Hospital Colorado Ethics Committee, Ethics Consult Team and assists with the Annual Ethics Conference as well as Ethics Grand Rounds.
Tracy also serves on the Academic Affairs Committee for the Department of Pediatrics, is the Co-Chair of the Instructor/Senior Instructor Working Group, and leads the Distinction Awards for the Department of Pediatrics.
Tracy is the mother of Hayley. Not only does Tracy have expertise in the medical field and as an advocate for individuals with disabilities, but she is also the mother of a child who would have been able to receive services at Kyle’s Mountain House. We are thrilled to have Tracy’s expertise both as a parent and a professional. It is our hope to honor Hayley’s legacy at Kyle’s Mountain House.
